The lyrics repeat over and over in my ears. Throw in some deep, meaningful versus', and some kick ass synth beats and Lady Gaga created something that will change her career. Her new single is all about unity and free expressionism. Be yourself! I feel as if our generation now has none of these. We live in a time where rumors are a past time, and hiding your true self is a given. From the time we are born, we are not taught to be ourselves - instead we are taught how to fit in with society. Well I say, FUCK SOCIETY! Why should I have to conform to what the 'norm' is and what others expect of me? I am my own person, I stand on my own two feet just fine by myself, I talk, move, interact, and function just fine on my own. Why should I have to maintain those actions within a certain parameter? No one should.

With all the Little Monsters out there, I'm sure there are hundreds of individual interpretations of Born This Way, although I view it as a birth to a new generation. A generation comprised of love, unity, expressionism, and individuality. What Mother Monster has done for us can not even be compared. She's teaching a world filled with hatred and prejudice how to love and care for one another for who we truly are.
